Vacuuming with my new swiss backpack

I tried out my backpack by filling it and vacuuming my bedroom.  I got pretty hot.  Let's hope Switzerland isn't too hot.  I am so not a backpack person.  I also have shoes that a hobbit would love if they wore shoes.



We fly to Seattle, then to Amsterdam, then to Geneva, get on a train and ride to Lausanne.  Then get on another train and ride up the alps to the town of Leysin.  Then we eat dinner and immediately go on a hike!!! I hope the hobbit shoes fulfill their duty.

    WHAT??? That sounds so incredible. Did you know I lived in Switzerland for a year when I was younger? Hiking in the Alps is an amazing experience. I can only imagine it will be even COOLER with hobbit shoes :) Have fun!! I can't wait to hear all about it! Insanely jealous...

    Your feet might survive all the walking because of the hobbit shoes. Definitely take TONS of pictures and do lots of journaling - and remember to bring them to Calgary when you come. I hope you and K have a FABULOUS time. Wish I was there with you!
